Lili grew up with her twin sister and family on a farm in rural Alabama. At age 17 she moved out of her house and started living on her own. At age 20 her life was changed when she found out she was pregnant.

As a single woman, she struggled with the thought of having a baby. Most of the places she called wouldn’t allow her to have an abortion past 10 weeks and she was right on that line but, she finally found one that would. After seeing a glimpse of her sonogram, she discovered that she was actually pregnant with twins.

After considering her options, she was connected with a counselor through an adoption agency. Lili chose to place her twin girls up for adoption and began the process of choosing the right family for her girls. She has a great relationship with the adoptive parents and stays in regular contact with them.
